Between being a good mother and wife, a good housewife, successful in her work and having a good social life, the modern woman often does not have much time for additional responsibilities such as keeping a busy fitness program and diet.

But leading a healthy lifestyle and staying fit is not really that difficult, even if you don't have time for a complete change program.

That is why today I have prepared for you 5 quick and short tips on how to keep your daily routine quality and healthy without having to spend a lot of time:

1. Full breakfast is a must!

We soon talked about her in another article. A healthy snack should include all three macronutrients - protein, carbohydrates, fatyes and enough fiber и vitamins. It should give you a serious kick-start throughout the day and energize you for all the responsibilities we mentioned above.

2. Replace junk food with healthy alternatives!

I guess it is clear that one of the basic requirements for a healthy lifestyle is to avoid processed junk foods - oily, full of stabilizers and sweeteners, and at the same time nutrient-poor.

I know it's easy to turn to them for a quick bite on a busy day, but there are also a lot of other convenient alternatives to replace. In addition to getting the energy you need, you also need to recharge your body with quality nutrients. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, home made protein bars… There are many options, you just have to look around!

3. Follow a light training regimen!

Exercise is also important. But there is no need for this to mean 4-5 heavy weight training sessions per week or endless cardio sessions…

You can easily get a full load even at home or in the office with just a pair of dumbbells, for example, that are easy to collect anywhere. Or just exercise with your own weight.

Get at least 2-3 hours of physical activity a week to keep your metabolism fast, your body toned, and your form intact, or even improved!

4. Get well hydrated!

Our bodies are predominantly made up of water and are in dire need of it for the proper course of all the processes in them - from the good digestion and separation of excess substances, to the hydration and nourishment of the various cells that keep our body healthy and beautiful.

With physical activity that we should not avoid, we lose a lot of sweat liquids, so we need to restore them with sufficient water intake.

2.5 - 3 liters per day is a good start, but if you want a more accurate benchmark - multiply your weight by 0.04 and get your recommended water intake for the day.

If you weigh 60 kg - 60 x 0.04 = 2.4 (liters of water per day)

5. Be careful with carbohydrates!

Carbohydrates are really important for fueling your body and should not be completely excluded from your diet. They are easily overdone and you need to be careful about the foods that contain them in abundance! Especially with those containing mostly fast carbs - again, processed junk foods and most sweets.

In conclusion…

As long as you follow some basic rules of eating, avoiding certain foods and emphasizing on others, and providing yourself at least 30-40 minutes of physical activity per day, you will have no problem maintaining good shape and sound health!
