The apple is highly represented in most traditional fruit sweets. What is better than the aroma of apple pie, whether it is on gray winter days or on hot summer afternoons? Want to try something new instead of the usual apple cakes? Try this apple and cinnamon cake, extremely simple, delicious and special, rich in apples, without eggs and sugar. The result will be an excellent crunchy crust and a soft cinnamon-flavored inside.

Necessary products

200 flour (I used 2 type)
100 ml. Maple syrup
60 coconut oil from the refrigerator
2 tablespoons cinnamon
3 Apples Gold
1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Preparation instructions

Preheat oven to 180 ° C.
Put flour, syrup, coconut oil in small pieces and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon in the bowl (you can add a pinch of organic baking powder for cakes, but it goes great without it.)
Knead with a mixer or fork until a granular flour mixture is obtained. Pour 2 / 3 from the cake-shaped mixture (20 cm diameter) with non-stick coating or lined with parchment paper, spread the mixture along the bottom and form a base about 0,7-1 cm thick, covering the edges of the tray as far as possible.
Wash and peel the apples, then slice them, season with lemon juice (to prevent blackening) and a teaspoon of cinnamon and mix.
Pour the apples into the pan, a pile will form, squeeze and spread over the entire surface, sprinkle with the rest of the dough.
Bake the cake for 1 hours or until the surface is golden. My cake is baked for about 1 hours and 10 minutes, check for readiness because not all ovens are the same.
When ready, remove the cake from the oven and allow to cool completely.
