Soothing, delicate, full of light and shadow - this is the shortest way to describe Tina Sosna's photography. A German girl who decides to live in the countryside with her boyfriend, even though there isn't much to photograph there… or at least at first glance.

Tina has been involved in photography for 12 years. This seems like an awfully long period, but for an artist it's nothing. Because skills come with practice, and individual handwriting takes a very long time to build. Over the years, Tina has managed to create one and today her photos can not be mistaken for anyone else. What distinguishes her the most and makes her photography unique is her intuitive sense of capturing detail and seeing beauty in the small, seemingly insignificant things. For example: the reflections in the river, the play between the light and the shadows that the objects throw in the room, the breakfast served at the table with care and the aesthetics of everyday life. Tina is able to see beauty everywhere. That is why the monotony of life in the countryside does not bother her at all, on the contrary, it inspires her and makes her see more than in the busy urban environment, where there is too much and at the same time so little.

Two years ago, Tina and her boyfriend decided to settle in the house from her childhood, where she grew up, surrounded by nature with amazing scenery. Germany is not one of the countries with noble soil, but the two of them grow most of the vegetables they eat on their own. Food is often present in her photos, in a way that fosters respect for her. The bread she kneads and bakes herself is especially revered. In this house, the two manage to be creative together, work in the garden, ride a bike in the area and have picnics, which we can also see in some of her shots.

The fact that Tina uses an analog technique - something that was considered obsolete, but has recently become more and more popular, and many photographers are finding the advantage - also contributes to her special style of photography and the "themes" she focuses on in her photography. and the charm of shooting analog. Tina creates analog photography from the beginning and often returns to her first photos when she gets lost or feels lost in inspiration. This is how she looks at the world through the eyes of a teenager who was terribly passionate about photography, mixing the feeling with the experience she has today. Tina says that in the beginning she mostly took portraits of herself. Now her photography shows many more personal moments, small things that mean something to her, but it also creates photos that visualize a certain mood, create a feeling of nostalgia and dreaminess.

Tina Sosna's photos are real poetry. If you look at them, you can easily sense emotions and even music. It's like a still from a movie or a music video telling a beautiful, often sad story. "I am a very thoughtful person and I pay attention to the details as well as my experiences. I always find something magical and meaningful every day. As soon as an emotion or idea strikes me, I try to keep it in a photo, ”the photographer shared.

According to her, nothing can compare to analog photography. It slows down the process of shooting and one rather leaves things to happen on their own - good or bad, but natural. "Photography looks real, honest and beautiful." One always wonders when is the right time to press the "capture" button, especially in analog photography. There is no exact moment for Tina, you press the button and you know that whatever is sealed, it will stay forever.
