The fifth edition of the Meetings of the Young European Cinema Festival will be held from 18 to 24 June at the Odeon Cinema and at the Slaveikov Hall of the French Institute - Sofia. This year's edition envisages various programs: first feature films, free films for students and their teachers, a program for children and parents, and the Forever Young program, which will feature films by Belgian director Chantal Ackerman. In addition, the festival will offer two free events for professionals and lovers of cinema: "Meeting of views: Joanna Grudzinska, Lea Todorov and Elitsa Georgieva on the use of archival footage in filmmaking", as well as an open lecture on "Music and Contemporary cinema ”with composers Pierre Desprat and Frank Williams.
