Whether addiction is Hell or a soft bed, on which you conveniently have your being so that you do not feel its roughness ... But what is behind the walls of the book and where is God - inside or out?

At the beginning of the book, Peter Chukhov invites the reader to enter it with a glass, allowing him to choose his own drink. It is necessary to mix aroma with touch and word with taste. It seems like he kindly invites you to shake his hand and follow him, going through his words like river stones. Sometimes you will slip, you will even get to a "street without an exit". "There is death at the end," but everyone has to go through their passions and addictions to get rid of them, no matter the cost. Accepting the terms, you can expand the next page.

The wings with soft litter

The play of words is characteristic of Peter's poetry. And in this book, he does not hide his mastery of putting the most sensitive word to touch. The book goes through the thin thread of erotica - without having to scream. In Little Night Music, the guitar adopts the image of a woman - a doll you can dress, tell her dirty jokes and take her to church. And loneliness lurks between the lines and silent, watching you replace it with objects. Las Vegas puts the vice and the divine on the balance, among them the eternal choice - Good and Evil, Angel and Devil, white and black, giving in to their desire or denying it. Things in the zone of the human, between which we inevitably wander. Surrealistically, a "young square" appears, who "grows up" and prepares for a new revolution, as well as marriage to it. This square has "bread and spectacles" and "in the blind man's hand - a stone." This breath of life in places and objects points to a different world in which the impossible is just a new opportunity. And yet - "you are the author," Petar Chukhov tells us, we choose the color of the black letters on the leaf.

Semi-love poems

Love is present in the collection as a shy sun, always finding a way to hide behind a cloud. She is hunched over and one can barely perceive her. It is no coincidence that the second cycle of the book is entitled "Semi-Love Poems" and there is something unspoken in them, and that is precisely their power. Just because it is hidden, love is the most genuine.

The poem,

"This one
who was shouting
it took my hearing

this one
who whispered
gave it back to me "

prompts us to ask ourselves: "Are these two different women or both sides of the same?" Because the female nature is never one-sided - it rages in the winds of the north and the calm sunny days of the south, where you can take shelter as sunset.

Sunset

She wipes her lipstick
with one cloud

The works are painted as if by themselves, and the creator is only an observer and a meek "recorder" of what is existing in nature, of what is happening, so visible and at the same time so imperceptible. Chukhov divides the Orthodox and Catholic Church into body and soul. However, what the body is and what the soul ... depends on one's own faith. What if she is missing? It's simple: God is behind you, but you don't see him in the mirror.

Childhood hardening

The third and final cycle of the book reflects the rapid growth and change of one game with another. The passing of life - at the same speed with which one day passes and how the seasons change, within hours. The words calm down, humble, as if awaiting the death and the end of the book. They wear a "tired jacket", bury their parents, and then wear them, "instead of Fortinbras soldiers." The glass is already passed and the reader remembers the death that lurks at the book's exit. The lyric character takes refuge in a room in the sky and meets his loved ones. All that remains is the picture of the funeral of the mother whose body lies behind the glass. The last wall of the fort is the casket lid.
