The famous Bulgarian composer Dobrinka Tabakova was elected principal composer of the BBC Concert Orchestra. She will replace the current composer Guy Barker. The BBC Orchestra will perform both plays from her previous work and new compositions. The first performance is already planned for the 2018-2019 season and will take place in the famous Queen Elizabeth Hall. Dobrinka Tabakova will participate in the artistic direction of the orchestra, in the programming of concerts, recordings and educational projects.
