Debut Gallery is pleased to present selected works by Iva Hadzhieva and Dimitar Arnaudov-Didy in a joint exhibition.

The exhibition aims to open a "window" to the original art and aesthetics of Iva and Didy - two authentic artists who have engaged in a life together with an individual creative presence. "Together" peeps into the creative pursuits of two adherents, distinguished creators of the 70s and 80s of the last century, who need contemporary reinvention.

The exhibition preceding Iva's 85 birthday is the first attempt, though partial, to present Iva Hadjieva's sculptural work. Many of her works adorn the urban environment in different parts of the country, with many of them being awarded prestigious awards at home and abroad. Sculptor and set designer, Iva has worked for many years for the name and fame of Bulgarian puppet art not only in Bulgaria but also outside Bulgaria. Her sculptural works and those of puppet theater have a strong creative personality, original approach, artistry, aesthetics.

Connoisseurs and specialists will be able to touch again the painting and graphics of Dimitar Arnaudov-Didy (1933 - 1989) - an exceptional figure in Bulgarian art. Broad culture and insatiable curiosity, delicate sensitivity and expressive emotionality, renaissance purity and clarity of thought - this is the shortest characteristic of this rich, creative personality. Didi was a unique contemporary artist, art critic, gifted poet. In the field of poetry, a more intimate and therefore less known feature of his, Didi has written about 120 poems.
